PERI is the number 7 in the industry

German family-owned companies stand for long-term relationships, strong personalities and established products. PERI was named “Germany's best employers in 2016 – top 100” in a nationwide survey conducted by the news magazine Focus, which has now been published. PERI was voted number 7 in the group “Production and processing of materials and building materials, metals and paper” industry.

PERI sits among the top employers in Germany according to the latest Focus survey. The recognition and popularity of the PERI brand have continued to improve since the survey was conducted. Most customers value the company because of its innovative strength, the quality of its services and products, and its high reliability. Employees particularly praised the job security, diverse responsibilities and development opportunities.

Users of PERI products have valued them for many years as the right solutions for all construction tasks, for simple and fast assembly, as well as versatile, easy and safe use. The production of the materials stands for reliability and safety “Made in Germany”.

The high quality of the products and the success of the company are based not least on the standards in PERI's mission statement. The values of PERI's specialists are performance, reliability, a sense of responsibility and straightforwardness. Their ambition is to be trustworthy and skilled partners, contributing to the success of their customers with the greatest dedication, expertise and know-how in the companies’ many projects around the world. “We at PERI actively live by the text of our mission statement. This means an open and trusting relationship with one another, recognising customer benefits as a success potential and, last but not least, accepting and moulding the continual changes we face in everyday life”, explains Director Dr. Fabian Kracht.

Family companies like PERI are the heart of the German economy. Some 90 % of all firms in our country fit into that bracket. Focus news magazine has reported that more than half of the entire nation's employees work for a family business.

In partnership with Xing, kununu and FOCUS, Statista GmbH, Hamburg, has posed the question for the fourth year in a row to the people who should know best: employees in Germany. In addition to 54 individual aspects of work-relevant themes, the most important question asked in this study, which was based on 70,000 employee responses, was one of recommendation: “On a scale of 0 to 10, how probable is it that you would recommend your employer to a friend or relative?”

The data was recorded anonymously through an online access panel, a survey through Xing, and through the career platform kununu.com, without any employer input – this methodology makes this a unique study in Germany. In total the study received detailed results for 1,307 employers (employing at least 500 people in Germany). The TOP 1,000 employers were named “Best Employer 2016” in collaboration with “FOCUS” magazine. PERI came 151st nationwide.
